According to the National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council Act, Section 54;
The National Science Research and Innovation Fund was established within TSRI with the objectives of supporting, promoting, and advancing the country’s research and innovation system in the fields of science, technologies, social sciences, humanities and interdisciplinarity. Additionally, the objectives include creating a body of knowledge; developing public policy; and promoting the applications of research and innovation for the economic and societal benefits for balanced and sustainable developments.
